One of my favorite Italian restaurants in Manhattan is ‘Inoteca. The food is delicious -every bit the Italian cuisine you would expect - and the wine list is every connoisseurs dream.‘Inoteca is located in the lower east side of Manhattan, on Rivington and the corner of Ludlow. Although I have been to their Gramercy location as well, I prefer the Lower East Side location of this restaurant due to it being in one of my favorite neighborhoods of Manhattan. Both locations have the same name.

There are many reasons why I love ‘Inoteca. The food is absolutely exquisite with the right herbs, spices, bread, cheeses etc…, the food is served tapas style – which I prefer because I love to try all my friends’ dishes – there is more than one location, service is great, and the prices are more than reasonable.

My recommendations are the grilled mushrooms with mozzarella and pesto panini; grilled calamari and apple salad; caponata di verdue bruschette; egg salad and asparagus tramezzini (sandwich) and suppli fritto (rice balls with cheese and thyme).
