French Toast with Cinnamon

 

SERVES: 4

 

INGREDIENTS:

3 tablespoons butter

2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

3 eggs

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1/4 cup of milk

4 slices of sandwich bread

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

 

In a skillet at medium-low heat, melt the butter.

 

In a bowl mix all of the ingredients, except the butter, with a fork or whisk until well blended. Dip 1 slice of bread in the bowl and coat both sides of the bread. Place the bread on the skillet and cook for 3 to 4 minutes on each side. Then move the bread to a warm plate and repeat with the rest of the bread. Serve with your favorite maple syrup or try it with Apple Cider Syrup.
