Asparagus Spears with Hollandaise Sauce

SERVES: 6

 

INGREDIENTS:

12 asparagus spears

Hollandaise sauce

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

 

Slice off the tough ends of the asparagus. Place them in a pot with enough water to cover them. Bring the water to a boil and continue to cook for 5 minutes until the asparagus is crisp-tender.

 

Drain the asparagus and place on a plate. Spoon the Hollandaise sauce over the asparagus. The asparagus are great on their own or part of a bigger meal. You can serve them with Eggs Benedict or with Steak and Eggs.
