Grilled Salmon

I am a seafood lover. Salmon is one of my favorite dishes, especially grilled. I like the salmon cooked extra crispy over the grill. Although, you can choose how well cooked you prefer your Salmon.





1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon pepper

1/2 teaspoon salt to taste

1 1/2 pounds salmon fillets

1/3 cup soy sauce 1/3 cup water

1/3 cup brown sugar

1/4 cup vegetable oil




Season the salmon fillets with the garlic, salt and pepper.


In a small bowl add the sugar, water, oil and soy sauce.


Stir until sugar is dissolved.


In a large re-sealable plastic bag place the salmon and the soy sauce mixture.


Seal the bag and turn to coat the salmon.


Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.


Preheat grill to medium heat.


Lightly oil the grill grate.


Place salmon on the preheated grill.


Throw away the marinade.


Cook salmon for 6-8 minutes on each side or until it flakes easily with a fork.


Serve immediately
