Fettuccine Alfredo

SERVES: 4


INGREDIENTS:

1 box of fettuccine pasta, uncooked

1/4 cup butter

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 eggs, beaten

INSTRUCTIONS:

 

Cook the fettuccine according to package directions and drain. While the fettuccine is cooking prepare the Alfredo sauce.

 

Melt the butter in a sauce pan over medium heat. When the butter is melted add the cheese and cream.

 

Stir constantly while it cooks and bring almost to a boil. Then lower the heat to low. Add the beaten eggs.

 

Stir constantly while it cooks for abut 5 minutes. Add the drained pasta to the saucepan and stir until the fettuccine is coated with the sauce.

 

Serve immediately.
