Tuna Tartare (Tuna Tar Tar)

SERVES: 4

 

INGREDIENTS:

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 pound of fresh tuna

2 teaspoons black pepper

2 teaspoons salt, or to taste

1 tablespoon capers

2 tablespoons chopped shallot

Slices of lemon

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

 

Using a sharp knife, cut the tuna into bite size pieces, about 1/4 inch each.

 

Mix tuna with the olive oil, capers, shallot, salt and pepper.

 

Add the slices of lemon to the top. Serve.
